Story Behind the Art
This painting reflects the progression and movement of the saints, from humble beginnings in log cabins in the left panel to the building of the first temple in Kirtland in the right panel. The central panel reflects the journeys of the Saints as they gathered together, and the woman in the center reflects the joy and wonder of the unfolding Restoration. - Annie Henrie Nader
